LA TENE
After several years as a trio, La Tène is now travelling as a six member unit, with two cabrettes (bagpipes from the Auvergne region of France) in the arsenal alongside drums, bass, 12 string guitar and Indian harmonium.
The band’s long, hypnotic pieces are built from traditional instrumentation and a daring, desperate persistence. The music feels as ancient and earthy as a ring of standing stones, and through the dogged repetition of their Occitan melodies, they even capture something of the rigour that must have been involved in the creation of such ritual sites.

PROPAN
Oslo based duo PROPAN will provide support on the bill. Their approach in comparison is sparse, more levitational. They are able to conjure delirious, psychedelic landscapes with the most minimal of tools, as evidenced on their incredible LOOM tape for the GLARC label in 2022.
