ALEX ZHANG HUNGTAI
Zhang is a multi-disciplinary artist focused on improvisation and its correlation with the unconscious. After retiring his project Dirty Beaches, Zhang has been focusing on explorations of improvised music, free jazz, and his role as a composer. His newer compositions predominantly work with saxophone and drums, delving into electronic music.

RAGE THORMBONES
Rage Thormbones is a low-frequency brass duo (Mattie Barbier & Weston Olencki) whose work exists at the intersections of “fuck around” and “find out”. They produce sculpted masses of high-density sound, carving metallic resonance and subcutaneous tones to make rooms feel really heavy. RAGE has collaborated with a range of artists including Kevin Drumm, Sarah Davachi, Clara Iannotta, and British pop maverick Scott Walker.

ELIF GLÜLIN SOĞUSKU
Elif’s performance is based on live-coding experiments that process, synthesize, and spatialize sounds using algorithmic techniques. A blurry, malleable sonic space that shifts back and forth in between flashbacks of sonic memories and traces of the vocal material that plays with the mode of listening and perceptual attention, alternating in between pure, distorted, and processed vocal materials.
